PSI had a team of 29 walkers participate in the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in City Place on Saturday, November 19. PSI’s team raised over $3,400.00 for the association and placed in the top 10 teams for fundraising out of over 100 that participated. PSI employees dressed up in purple accessories to show their support for the cause. One employee, whose family has been personally affect by the disease, even receivedĀ a surprise, last minute donation and in-person presentation of her grand champion medal and t-shirt by her brother, U.S. Marine Sgt. Jonathan Yeneic, who flew in to surprise her along with her mom. Marian had been looking forward to the walk for months and worked tirelessly to fundraise for the event, so we were so excited to see her efforts and story recognized and to celebrate all her hard work.
